Meet Brooklyn

Hello, my name is Brooklyn Van Sickle and I am proud to be your 2024 Bowden Daze Rodeo Queen. I come from a purebred Hereford cow / calf ranch just west of Bowden and have been raised in agriculture my whole life. When I’m not busy with the cattle I enjoy riding and breaking horses that I use almost daily on the farm. As well as spending time with my miniature Aussie dog, Bailey. I am currently enrolled in Lakeland college completing my Animal Science Diploma which I plan to use to expand my knowledge of agriculture. I am so grateful for the opportunity to represent my home town of Bowden and I’ve had such an incredible experience with my year. From the traveling to meeting lifelong friends and making so many memories that have made my year unforgettable!
