Meet Brooklyn

Hello, my name is Brooklyn Van Sickle and I was your 2024 Bowden Daze Rodeo Queen. I come from a purebred Hereford cow / calf ranch just west of Bowden and have been raised in agriculture my whole life. When I’m not busy with the cattle I enjoy riding and breaking horses that I use almost daily on the farm. As well as spending time with my miniature Aussie dog, Bailey. I am currently enrolled in Lakeland college completing my Animal Science Diploma which I plan to use to expand my knowledge of agriculture. I am so grateful for the opportunity to represent my home town of Bowden and I’ve had such an incredible experience with my year.
